Salzburg pictures. Salzburg (the city of Mozart) is a great town along the Salzach River in Austria, boasting a very well preserved and charming baroque old town (a UNESCO world heritage site), a great cathedral and a medieval fortress (called Festung Hohensalzburg) perched on a steep hill above it.
