Nice pictures. While Nice is 'just' another coastal town on the French Riviera, if you manage to avoid the throngs, its also a pleasant and calm place for having a couple of days' rest. Its beach along the Promenade des Anglais is packed with tourists in Summer, but the rest of the city awaits exploration, being full of beautiful mediterranean avenues and streets, not to mention parks - including a quite large hill overlooking the surrounding beaches and ports, offering an unmissable panorama.
