Debrecen

Debrecen pictures. Debrecen is a cheerful and atmospheric university town in Eastern Hungary, with a beautifully restored downtown, centered around the huge pedestrianized main square, where Debrecen's trams are the only traffic. The most interesting sights are the architecture of the city center, the outside attractive, inside modest Reformation Cathedral (previously a symbol of the whole Reformation movement), the Csonkatemplom church (with a spire resembling a bastion), the university buildings, and the Nagyerdő park.
